A few weeks ago, Tiliah came into the studio and she wanted to do something a little different.

She described herself as very free spirited, and she wanted to create something that wasn’t just going to live inside of an album. She wanted images that she could actually hang up, put in her bathroom, etc. So for part of her session, we decided to do the RGB shower.

 

I wanted this part of her experience to feel playful, colorful, and just flat out FUN.

She decided to go nude for it, which was freaking awesome, and honestly so fitting for her. I would say she stepped outside of her element, but really… she might have been completely inside of it. 😂 She told me from the beginning that she was a free spirit and she was pretty much game for anything.

One of my favorite little touches was the body chain.

We went through a few different pieces trying to figure out what would really stand out with the lighting and the water, and the body chain definitely did not disappoint. It added just enough without taking away from everything else happening in the images.

This is exactly why I love giving people different options during their session. Everything doesn’t have to look the same. Sometimes you want soft and pretty. Sometimes you want dark and moody. And sometimes you want to get in a colorful shower, take your clothes off and just have fun with it. 😂
