“Starting off, Bare Studio Portraits entire team is amazing! I found BSP on TikTok one day when I was looking for photoshoot ideas. I was immediately drawn in and made my way over to the Instagram page to see more work and this is where the inspiration started. I saw women just like myself who were embracing their bodies and that was exactly what I wanted to do as my self love journey was just beginning. Bare Studio Portraits stood out the most for me because it wasn’t a group that was only posting perfect bodies, overly edited photos, or models. These are real everyday women like me with regular 9-5s and still wanting to celebrate and express ourselves to the highest.

When I applied for the BDSM shoot I was excited and even more excited when I got the call I was selected because this was my first ever professional shoot. My nerves started getting the best of me as time got closer to the shoot and I almost backed out about a week before and the morning of because I was concerned about what I would look like on camera and then I reminded myself that I’m an everyday girl and I was doing this for me and no one else had to approve of it. Once I was at the studio everyone made me extremely comfortable.

My advice to any woman who’s on the fence about a boudoir session is to just jump and do it! This has been the most empowering experience for me. My photos turned out amazing and every day I look at them and say that’s really me. And still in awe that I did a boudoir session. My motivation to step out of my comfort zone came from the new wave of “soft girl era” loving myself more, embracing myself and enjoying every version of me. I want to thank BSP for bringing me out of my zone because I felt so free the entire time, and I’m ready for another photoshoot!”
