Couple’s Boudoir is one of my absolute favorite topics because it SCREAMS “empowerment” on SO many different levels! Not only does the woman want to celebrate her body, but their partner does as well, and that is quite wonderful if you ask me. A couple’s boudoir session can be used to spice things up, or to add a new date night idea! Here’s what to expect when doing a couple’s Boudoir session at my studio:

We’re going to have a lot of fun!

Before your session, we will have a meeting with the two of you, and we will discuss all things sexy! We’ll start to establish the mood that you want to have with a brief set of questions to help me plan; do you want something more spicy and out of your comfort zone? Or do you want something more sweet and mellow? These are the things that we will discuss, as well as any necessary props that you might want to incorporate. I know that a favorite for some couples is “BDSM”, as it allows for them to get some kinky photos that they can enjoy looking back at for years to come.

 When you both come in, hair and makeup will start immediately, and men, you’ll get to sit in the lobby, drink a beer and just hang out until hair and makeup is done! From there, we’ll go to the back, and we will shoot for an hour (it goes by FAST). Do I pose you? YES!  Not only do I pose women who come in, I pose couples as well!

 We’re Going to Be Playing Music to Keep The mood Going.

My number one rule is that I never shoot in silence! Music can do so much to everybody’s attitude during the session, and there’s nothing like listening to your favorite music while doing something way out of your comfort zone to help keep you going. We also have mimosas and can accommodate for any drink that you would like!

It can get a little… Spicy.

Now, don’t you laugh! I’m just kidding, you can totally laugh. Because of how intimate this is, and being that it’s with the love of your life, we mayyy have to take a quick break. II’ll let you fill in that blank! It will be completely okay if you think that your partner might get the hots for you in the middle of the session! This is completely normal, but no worries or embarrassment whatsoever. This session truly is a bonding experience like no other, and I get that things can get a little… Exciting ( I am actually laughing as I’m typing this, LOL!)

P.S.:  Did you know that you also have the option to incorporate your partner without the entire thing being a couple’s session? This is offered for the women do want to incorporate their partner, but also might want some shots solo(; in which case we have an add-on just for you! If you would like for your partner to come in for a portion of the session, we will give them a separate time frame to come in, and after you’ve gotten all dolled up and ready to shoot, we will add them in, get some amazing shots of the two of you, and then send them back on their way! So, you have plenty of options!
